Work Harder On Yourself Than You Work Your Job!

Why would a person work harder on them self than they work their job? It’s a number of reasons but the one that stands out is a job is not promised to be here tomorrow. Jobs can downsize at any time without informing their employees. Your employers main concern is his house hold and his income. The employer is not concerned with your issues such as food, gas, mortgage, kids, or any other issues you could think of. It’s funny that your employer always stress to you that they want you to give 100% of your effort but when the times get tough a lay off is floating in the air and why can’t they take a pay cut and give you 100%. This would be the best place to work if that were to happen and a fairy tale right. I’m not saying to slack off you job because you are paid for a hourly service or some for a salary service. You are trading time for money. It’s time you figure out how to work on yourself more and get paid for the value you bring to the market. We all have some type of value to bring to the market regardless of your background. You can be a expert in your field but you have to work on yourself to find out what you are a expert in. You will have to shed many layers to find out what your value is because the longer we live the more masks we learn to wear and maintain. We should cleanse and renew our mind daily through exercising the most powerful muscle in your body which is your mind. Many people don’t know how to exercise their mind and this is a problem. To exercise your mind first change what you are reading if you are reading at all. Start reading personal development books because they walk you through how to start exercising your mind. Stop listening to the radio because it’s not helping you grow the hear the same old songs you know by heat and not getting you anywhere except you know that song. Listen to audios on personal development so you will have a library on wheels. Work on yourself everyday and every way. Ken Davis http://tkotakeover.com davisk490@gmail.com

What good is kn…

What good is knowledge if you don’t put it into practice?

Does Your Belief Affect You?

What is belief? Your belief is how you think and approach any and all things in life. It’s what you feel to be true without having to draw clues like a judgement. How do you get your belief is even a better question. You get your belief from you parents first because they teach you their beliefs they have learned. You also get your belief from what ever part of the country you are from. When we are kids we always would find conflict if a person did not believe like we did, because we were only taught our beliefs and we were never told other people have beliefs that are different from ours. Our parents never tried to make us understand as a child that people have different belief systems so we grow up with all the beliefs they instilled in us and carry those beliefs with us for a life time. It’s not until we are challenged that we start to see that everybody does not think like we do. This starts to be a problem so to avoid it we start to form clicks of people to be around that think like us. This is our comfort zone because we don’t have to deal with any outside beliefs. These beliefs can sometimes hold you back at different points of you life, whether it marriage, job, or business. Sometimes we look at our family history to make sure were can or cannot accomplish something because they had the same beliefs we do. This will hold you back in many areas until you form your own belief system. Many people work jobs for years at the same position and never move up, but on the job they say they like their position because they don’t want to deal with the headache of more work and more pay. When they go home they are always complaining about what they don’t have and how their co-worker is lucky because they are favored. This is just their belief system if they want more they believe they should have it. Many people are trapped in a life that they just don’t want and can’t see away to get out, so they just go on struggling and depressed. If only there was a road map you could use to look back where you started from with those beliefs and where you are now and where you are going next. Many people don’t know where they are going because they don’t like where they are at currently. I believe that is why the Gps was a great invention because they knew people just don’t know where they are going and need to be guided there. This works for destinations but what do you use for your personal life? You have to start working on yourself through personal development. Its a lot of info about it on the net just sit down and start reading some of it…

Why Are You Stuck?

Why am I stuck is really a common question this day and time.  Many people are stuck and don’t even know it.  We live in a microwave society where we expect everything to be instant.  Only microwave ovens can produce instant results, but leave it in too long and it will burn up.  The lesson is you are stuck because you are rushing you progress and success like it’s in a microwave oven.  Then you give up on yourself because that instant success does not happen.  In truth your success or progress is happening but you have been conditioned to get it and get it fast that it just goes over your head.  We should take more lessons form farmers, they are perfect examples of seed, time, and harvest.  They are very patient people and so patient the city folks call the simple people.  They understand life and how it works and do not make it complicated.  To be simple is very rewarding because you don’t set yourself up for failure.  The farmers take their time and they with their products and give them time to grow, because they never bought into the success over night way of thinking.  Many people see a person with success that they have never seen before and think that’s a success over night person.  They really don’t know all the ups and downs that person went through to get the success they have today.  You are stuck because you may be scared to go through process.  The process is where success is gained or lost.  If you go through the process then you can have success, but if you don’t complete the process you are sure to stay stuck and move on to your next task. So how do you get unstuck?  First find out what you really want out of life.  This can be major because you will find most people have never given much thought to what they really want in life.  Why are so many people doing what other people want them to do instead of what they want to do?  One big clue is the TV.  If you spend enough time in front of that TV then hours, days, and years go by and you have been programed to watch other succeed and watch and celebrate their success.  Step one is to stop watching TV because it a total waste of your time.  Step 2 Read personal development books because they walk you through where you are and where you want to go.  This process is not a over night gig.  It’s a life long journey because if you really start and are seeking to get unstuck you will not be able to go back to the old you.  Step 3 change your friends because if they don’t bring value to you then they are taking away value from you.  Step 4 find a mentor because you need some one to rely on.  This does not mean find some one physically it can be tapes for videos form some talking about personal development.  Step 5 set goals and make sure they are short goals at first not a far fetched goal that you can’t reach and you give up, because you are just starting out so make it easy to attain the goal.
